Those who set the direction
Co-CEODr. Ramirez originated the research program behind Project Science. His doctoral work, Toward a Theory of Behavioral Project Management, established the foundation for an evidence-based field of project delivery. He co-authored NeuralPlan and founded the Institute for Neuro & Behavioral Project Management, the first institutional steps toward the discipline the Institute now exists to advance.
Co-CEODr. Cunio is Co-CEO of the Project Science Institute, where he leads its mission to establish project delivery as an evidence-based scientific discipline. His doctoral research examined how project management leaders implement lessons-learned practices, exposing how much of accepted "best practice" is professional folklore rather than empirically tested knowledge. From that work he developed the Project Integrated Lessons Learned (PILL) Framework, a structured, evidence-based system for capturing and applying knowledge across the delivery lifecycle. At the Institute he turns that research into practice, building the methods, standards, and epistemic accountability that let organizations learn from their projects rather than repeat them. His work rests on a single conviction: that disciplined inquiry, not accumulated habit, is what turns project delivery into a science.
